How Far We Have Come in 13 months…
Spring Season update from the Board of Directors…
After reviewing the timeline for the construction of the Wayne Densch Fellowship Park, the Board of Directors have decided that it will not be possible for Seminole North Little League to host a Spring 2008 Little League Season. Our Board, led by the full-time efforts of President George Pihakis II, is working diligently to build a first-class facility that will be home to Seminole North Little League for many years to come. Please see the Timeline Tab which chronicles how far we have come in just 13 months since the land lease was signed with Lakeside United Fellowship Church. It reflects our dedication in making the Wayne Densch Fellowship Park a reality, as well as displaying the enormous support of many individuals and businesses in our community.
Timeline… After carefully constructing a proposed building timeline for the next 8 months (which is listed below for your review), the Board is confident that we will have Opening Day on September 6, 2008 with a Grand Opening Celebration to share the park with all of our Patrons, Donors, and the entire community.
Fall 2008 Sign-ups… Sign-ups will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on August 2nd & 9th, with try-outs held for ages 7 thru 12 (also last-minute sign-ups) from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on August 16th. Teams will be formed immediately following try-outs. All sign-ups and try-outs will be held at the NEW Wayne Densch Fellowship Park! The Fall Season will run from September 6th thru November 8th, 2008.
We appreciate you… We sincerely appreciate your interest in wanting to participate in Seminole North Little League, and hope you will frequently visit our site to get the latest news, updates, and volunteer opportunities as we work together to build a place where families will come together for years to come.
